I really don’t think the changing the formation and tactics help. Players play in the 4th division largely due to the fact they are technically limited, and more importantly at times, they can’t take on tactical info as well as better players.


I think we have to commit to a style. Whether GM has gone down this route due to the fact he realises the players aren’t as good as he hoped and is trying to grind through to the transfer window, I don’t know.


Our biggest threat at the end of last season was HA running in behind with power and pace, why didn’t we replace that dynamism like for like? We signed Gibson as a replacement who is ok but not that type of player.


If you want to pass through teams you have to play Close or Westbrook. What’s the point in having 58+ % possession and not playing your best passers of a ball?? Just nonsensical. I think he’s in a bit of a tailspin tactically and we are forgetting the basics at times.


Maxwell needs to get fit as well, he’s a huge player for us when he’s at his best.

The only stats that matter are goals in the net and points won. Everything else is horse***t. I really cannot understand the ‘but the stats say this’ drivel spouted by some on here . Who gives a toss about xG. Certainly not me.
