After nearly 5 year gap from my last visit to watch Rovers (long story) I’ll be at the Tranmere game. Quick question do I need to purchase a ticket in advance or pay on the turnstile.

You need to get a ticket, but they are avaiable on the day, bit of a queue near to KO time though.

Buy online or queue at the ticket office unless the South Stand has a cash or card turnstile. If you have a friend or relative who is a season ticket holder they can buy you a ticket to accompany them for a fiver.
