Where to watch the Hull match?
« on January 10, 2025, 12:18:33 pm by TonySoprano »
I didn't manage to get tickets, so I'm in the same boat of many other Rovers fans, wondering how to watch the match on Sunday?

Because it's an FA cup match, it won't be shown in our country.
But yet they change the kick off to a ridiculous time for FOREIGN television?!

How is that fair ?

I wonder if anyone knows of a stream on the Internet? Or other ways ?

It's being shown on Optus Sport so there will be a stream available somewhere.

I believe it's also on Sportsnet East for all those that can get that.

I remember once watching the Preston fa cup game on bet 365 because I placed a bet on it. Can imagine they still do that

USA .. ESPN+ (k/o 7am ET, 4am PT)
and in Australia
The FA Cup has a new home Down Under. Optus Sport – also your destination for all 380 Premier League matches this season – is the new rights holder, and will show all the FA Cup games, most of which won’t be shown on UK TV.

And yet the team's supporters can't watch it live or indeed get a ticket for the game. Modern football eh!

It’s shameful really and it needs addressing.
Why were there so few tickets for a ground that size

a welcome F*******k viewing development opens up the possibility for  supporters throughout the world to watch their club’s every game and donate the money they save on viewing fees from the traditional broadcasters to their own club instead.
In my case I divert it to my old Primary school so that they can send 8 students and two teachers to a home match .
It makes me feel good and them too no doubt and the.club  certainly !

Whilst what you’re doing is commendable it’s a minor silver lining on a very heavy cloud. We’re Doncaster Rovers, not Manchester United, and although we’ll have a few fans across the world our fanbase is largely local, not global. The numbers losing out in this case (and in general with the way that broadcasters dictates the schedule these days) far outweigh those that are gaining.

I would listen on Radio Sheffield, but don't want to listen to Mickey Walker telling us how bad Rovers are and how he used to play for the Wendies.

Gate is 10032.

Stadium holds 25582 and average league gate this season is 21313.
