Another that is becoming prevalent is when people get to the end of what they were saying and finish a pause then say “so …. yeah”.

Hope he’s one of the 20% or so 1st time loanees who contribute in any meaningful way. Can see he’s been given the big up as the best prospect going but we’ve seen that so it’s in one ear out the other.

This position is by general consensus what we’re not quite nailing (centre forward has a question mark for me but that is as much about service) so if he is a good one this could get us properly going and nail down a auto spot.

We’ve the players for sure just need something to click and we’ll be fine

Not sure what you saw and I didn’t but a pretty poor debut I thought. Stood out as a boy against a very physical Gills team. Not going to judge him too much in his first game but, as above, it wouldn’t have made a difference if Broadbent was in the middle today, it may have been an improvement.

Ennis looked knackered after 5 mins on the field which was a bit funny when he was stood next to Molyneux who had done 80 mins and looked fine.

I thought he showed some neat touches and used his body well at times given his lack of stature. Positioning was good as well and wasn’t scared to get on the ball. Looking forward to seeing more of him! Difficult place to make your debut given the pitch and the fact we never usually do well there.

It’s his first game so we have to not be overly judgmental, I think he was concentrating on not making any mistakes in his first appearance, rather than playing his natural game.

However,  I did think he looked to be lacking in pace, was too lightweight and also did not want to head the ball at all, but I do think he found space and started wanting the ball.

Let’s see in a few weeks.

I have had a feeling we need either Close or Westbrooke in the team at all times, with Bailey and mix the others up. Close & Westbrooke are the only ones we have who can control the ball for the team.

Such a shame about Close and Westbrook. Despite their limitations, these two are the only midfielders we have that can look after the ball. Our midfield options currently being used are really poor in my opinion ( apart from Bailey). Hopefully Charlie can be the man we need as it’s obvious these two are not fancied.

So did I, it was his first game. He will be a good player for us between now and May

Saying nothing. GM signed Craig and chucked him straight in against Newport and I thought he looked like he had won an award so I will judge him as time went on. What I will say is Broadbent and Clifton were brilliant when they came on today. Loved Broadbents yellow card for the team and Clifton’s tackle near the end.
