Travel arrangements in situations like this make a huge difference. Remember hearing the horror show of travel arrangements when we played Plymouth away then Ipswich away a few years ago.  Ended up getting pumped 6-0 at Ipswich.

I remember speaking to Gavin last season and he said the club support whatever McCann and players want to do. In some cases, they'd rather travel on the day because they would rather spend time with their loved ones and other times, they would rather stay over. Wood as the club captain represented the players in that decision making.

It's not solely their decision and in most cases, common sense prevails.
