Filo, was it you who posted some months back that a German operator was rumoured to be coming into Donny?

Great news that the airport is a step closer to re-opening, especially from a business view. Rovers away at Munich for a pre-season friendly?!?  ;)

Nothing much,  they're consultants taking money to advise the  council run company on reopening and infrastructure necessary, they're needed because the people appointed to the company by the elected Mayor have zero knowledge of aviation.
Munich being paid to  liase with airline companies and related aviation business should the place open and continue to operate.
I've watched  video of council meetings on Airport development and the  level of incompetence is astonishing.
Does anyone have any idea what experience the elected Mayor has of running businesses?
I expect the government will give this thing the widest of wide berths.

Could you do better, do you have the experience ?

Except of course yours, you don't have one. An opinion that is. Unless you were one of the people jerking themselves into a frenzy because people from Munich were at the airport site last week.  Well of course they were,  they were being paid loads out of public funds for their presence. Handsomely.
Now, were they in attendance at their own cost then that would be something,  so far all that's been achieved is Doncaster Council paying, and a share of the money we'd be getting from SYMCA for other projects diverted to airport consultation fees.
Nothing from anywhere,  at all, except a few warm words.
Unless anyone has ways of explaining I'm wrong?

You could explain why you are correct
