They have been on a truly horrific run and I think sold their best player in the window.

He said on local TV yesterday the owner holds all the aces and he has none, all said with a big smile. He knew it was coming

I wonder if they'll go for Rosenior as he was there previously and we'll thought of. (And importantly for Derby, he'll be cheap as he's out of work).
EDIT: I take it back. He's manager of Strasbourg in France. P23 W8 D7 L8.

Richie would be a good fit at Derby! McCann would be terrible there!

Nah  Orient were in the bottom 6 earlier this season -- and went quite a few games without a win - they didn't quite make the bottom four ,  as i  expected --just remembered they couldn't score a goal for toffee --  then Mr. Money (the owner) at Orient started signing players at regular intervals to get him out the $hite

Derby will be a yo yo club

Mark Hughes pipped Steven Gerard to the job at Carlisle but wouldn't Gerard be a sensible option ?

Nothing screams American owner more than buying a lower league club and going for a big name manager, very much akin to Birmingham sacking their manager in the play off spots to hire Rooney.

Eustace addresses Derby's manager approach as Blackburn 'buyout clause met'

Today, they're willing to pay £500-700k to get John Eustace from Blackburn apparently.

Wasn’t Eustace in the running for our job once? Maybe when Wellens got the gig.

I remember hearing the name at one point. We weren’t exactly backing anyone to do the job at the time if we’re honest (Blunt and all) so probably did his career some good to miss out on the opportunity. Schofield probably wishes he had although he never helped himself
