They are mid-table-ish in National League. If he can get the starting spot, then that's a decent level for him to kick on from. Fully pro and playing in front of some decent gates in that league. Good platform for him.

The keeper who been there for 8 and half seasons has asked for contract to be cancelled, so more than likely Louis Jones will be starting very soon if not this week

A bit more to it than that. They have a "Director of Football" who's never played football and they tried or did change the T+C of his contract  The fans are not happy to say the least not just this but everything

Why is it an issue their DoF never played football?

Agreed, Michael Edwards was so bad for Liverpool, if only he'd had more experience like Rooney he would be better. Oh wait, he was very successful and turned Liverpool around into a title challenging and winning team.

As my late brother's step-grandson, I'd like to wish Louis all the luck in the world for his next career move. My brother would have been so proud beyond words to have seen Louis in the Rovers first team, but sadly passed away before he got the chance to see him. I know my brother Duckie was so proud of Louis's achievement at Rovers. Good luck and thank you Louis for giving your all to the Rovers, from all us Emmo's!!

Got in the team of the week so must've done something right.

That’s the thing with being a keeper. Can make some good saves then throw one in like that and all the good works undone in a second. Tough gig.

Louis took a goal kick today then went down injured straight away. Dags twitter feed said it looks a bad en. Gutted for the lad.

Dags just signed another keeper on loan from Gillingham for rest of season so Jones injury must be bad.
