Up to this time last year he was a player of promise and ability, but had a run of committing a major bollock on a regular basis that cost us points. Hence the improvement when Wood and Anderson were paired together.
That will have been the clubs reason for taking up his years option hoping he would improve, but to the lads credit he has improved beyond recognition so much so he is getting the attention of other clubs who now recognise a top player of value, but out of contract at the end of the season, and to the clubs disadvantage of losing out on a fee, but to his agents advantage and himself who will probably get a decent signing on fee.
He is not the first we have missed out on if he does go, and probably not the last in the near future.

Agreed, he was not far short of shocking for quite a period of time (but always a really nice lad), I hope he remembers the faith the club had in him.
To me he has improved unbelievably, so I hope he gives us 2 very good seasons as payback.
Then someone can pay good money for all the work put into him (coaching team, Grant, Wood,Anderson).

Why are people listening to media? There is so much shi*e out there.

I would love him to sign, this feels like Moly last year, people were writing him off as gone but still here....but hopefully we will be in L1 before the final negotiations.

I genuinly believe if we get promoted he will stay to be part of it, and not just a deal signed to get the club some money.

Let's just enjoy the next 16 games he is contracted for and then we can see.

That's right. There's little point sweating over this and being distracted from the job in hand.

Just singing his name is the best support we can give.

Definitely need a new chant made up for him to stay and make sure South stand belt it out at every home game left, especially at the end when he goes to clap. Something basic and clear.

Maybe, in sound of beetles we love you yeah yeah yeah....

We love you Olowu
We love you Olowu
We love you Olowu
Siiiiiggggnnnn

I think he has had a great season and really stepped up. He’s a signing for someone on potential though. At 25 and with one standout season in League Two, you’ve not got a huge amount to go on really.

RoversinSpain, what would you do if someone came in and doubled your wages or more in a ten year career at best.
So you 'd do it because your a nice lad, yeah. I don't think it will enter his head  myself if he does get an offer from a bigger club we can't match.
