Why are there so many blank weeks please Jemmo it seems a horrible start stop start season

Combination of things now;

There's an odd number of teams in the division so there will always be a team with a bye week.

Featherstones late exit from the competition meant they were already in the fixture list so they essentially became other bye weeks

Thr weekend just gone we were due to play Widnes but they were in the semi final of the cup so we had to move the league game

The frutrating thing is also thiose last 2 reasons then result in mid week games and spells where we have 3 games in 7 days, which is brutal, particularly for part time players
