Genuine question - would you rather money be spent on the things you mention or developing the squad?
Some of the items were discussed at Meet the owners:Floodlights - far exceed the league expectations in terms of brightness, however they won't replace bulbs during the season, if required, they'll get someone to do what's required pre-season when they can replace many bulbs at once as opposed to a few at a time. The tannoy will cost a crazy amount of money to replace and the club are looking at options, they're aware it's not great and actually appears to be getting worse in the West.IMO - there's plenty of branding inside the stadium, plenty in the east and west stand (no idea about the South), historical timeline/donny dog stuff etcThe pitch is a victim of the weather, it's been pretty excellent in the past few seasons. A lot of other clubs are similar. The only point I strongly agree with you on is the banners outside the stadium look tired.Hindsight is a wonderful thing, looking back and saying we shouldn't have signed/re-signed x,y and z to save money is a bit short sighted.

So what your saying is that if we played all our games on a council playing field we could sign premier league quality players as we wouldn’t have to meet basics standards of lighting or sound quality or even general house keeping . The board didn’t buy the stadium it leased it on the cheap . The stadium is look untidy and isn’t providing a sufficient sound system for safety . The lights need modernising LEDs are cheaper to run and possibly brighter and the pitch is only just holding up as playable and clearly isn’t being looking after well enough.. Where is the hydro lamps talked about to help with the grass growth in winter . Clearly the budget is what pays for the upkeep and it’s not meeting its demands . Put £20 on the season ticket prices and maybe this would go away to fixing the problems .

Didn't TonySoprano attend the Meet the Owners, or at least watch the event on YouTube?Essential maintenance is carried out, even in previous meet the owners, GB referenced how much had been spent on maintenance. Then of course, there are cosmetics which are less of a priority although I'm sure there are plenty of things, big and small, that could be addressed and will be in time.I've often wondered whether a budget could be set aside annually that can be spent and prioritised by the Shadow Board, Fan Experience Group however, how do we decide on how it's funded? From Sponsorships? From a percentage of total Club Doncaster income? From bonus income from cup runs etc? Dialogue is always good. Plus, maybe we should read the Shadow Board minutes to check on these sort of things. I took the time to find and read them on the official site a couple of weeks ago.
You can’t grow grass when there’s no sunlight. It’s been grim, dull weather for a few weeks. I would imagine the lighting systems you see at premier league grounds to encourage grass growth cost an absolute fortune to run and they need to be on a lot to get any benefit. Probably not financially viable for the club

The pitch must be done every year because the Dons have to play away every year for 2 months.Surely it would be better the other way round with the Dons playing the home games before the football starts again.Did'nt have this problem at Belle Vue.
The tannoy is a joke in the west, not heard a thing for months, it needs sorting.

It's refreshing to be able to hear myself think before KO/at HT never mind being able to hear the person sat next to me.
