I think the home teams try to play more expansive football which suits us on the counter, at home teams sit deep and let us have the ball where we don't seem to have a clue how to penetrate them

We all know what happened there when a crossbar made a difference between being crowned Champions or having to endure the play offs. Could it be that tight again this season?

We got the job done but it was seat of pants stuff with what must be the biggest Tier 3 budget in our history. £8m is the figure in my head for that year's expenditure. Wasn't much enjoyment watching us grind out 1-0s.

Like this year, just relying on spending plenty on players that are generally better than the ones the opposition have and hoping they grind out wins.

In cold hard business terms, we are in the top 2 and that could be described to TB as value if we finish in this position! Is it good to watch is another thing altogether. There are signs we are finding some little bits of nice play form, but the majority (for me) is bang average league 2 kick n chase fair.

More like 6th but for having played 1 game more.
