A lot’s gone right for us (could have been even better without a couple of late goals) but I think the most important thing is that it sounds like a commanding, dominant performance exactly when we needed it. The lineup feels pretty settled now, are things coming together? Two very winnable games up next so hopefully we’re in an even more promising position this time next weekend.

Sterry was excellent today. Bullied their winger all game, and ran riot as a winger. One of his best games.
Walsall collapsed. 12 points from last ten games. We have 21 points from last ten games.
Sterry was very good today. And ... I've been critical of him but Broadbent was also very good today (if he had more pace he would be a top class player).

Broadbent is ok at the defensive stuff but can’t ever see him being good enough on the ball to play at any sort of level though. Awful passer of a football. There was a free kick he took (first half I think), highlighted that he really struggles to kick it properly. Against better teams we need more in there than him and Clifton.
