I think if I could pick anything today it would be Walsall lose.
Genuinely think we will catch them, especially with them at home soon.

Been flicking around various matches and what sticks out is the amount of poor ref decisions being made. The standard leaves a lot to be desired.

Colchester dominated the first 10 minutes or so, but Bradford have got back in the game. The quality is better than Notts/Crewe especially from Col U, but Bradford are very industrious and once they had settled after the initial pressure they have been a constant threat. (The United goal was something of a breakaway.)

Based on our recent form, we would find it very hard going against either team.

Wimbledon not good, Bradford a certain win, it leaves Rovers with a bit to do, a win against both teams was always the target though.

As it stands Notts, Vale and Walsall all failing to win. We’d have probably taken that.
It was always going to be difficult to watch the results come in with no game ourselves. At least 3 of them are dropping points in very winnable games.

Vale now winning ffs!

A bad day results wise. Rovers back to chasing autos

We dropped 5 silly points in the Bromley and Swindon games. Only ourselves to blame.

Down to 5th game in hand to Wimbledon 3points behind them and 1 point behind PV
Wimbledon now drawing so it 1 point behind both now.
We must be better in front of goal in our remaining games

Late equaliser for Barrow.

Can't have been too far off the last kick of the game.

We simply have to start beating some of those teams around us now.

B*llocks. Been betting on the teams around us for a few weeks (which has worked like a charm, by the way); tried to put a treble on PV, Bradford & Wimbledon today but didn’t have any money in my account (given the last few weeks!) and didn’t have my card to hand to be able to top up. A fiver would have won the best part of £40 as well.

EDIT - just seen about the Barrow equaliser, feeling even more chuffed with that now!

Wimbledon were 2-0 up with 2 minutes to go. Massive difference now to today's results.

We simply have got to start winning games consistently. I honestly don't fancy this team in the play-offs in front of big crowds.

Wimbledon had one more attack which finished with a corner awarded and then the whistle went. They ought to be beating Barrow but their defence didn’t look too solid.

It will be a huge wasted opportunity if we don’t take the slip ups that are continually being presented. This league really isn’t very good.

Our match against an improved Carlisle next weekend is crucial. A win would put us in a great position because next Sat sees:

Walsall vs Wimbledon
Crewe vs Port Vale
Colchester vs Grimsby

Then Accrington vs Bradford and Newport vs Notts County maybe not the easiest away matches

Having dipped into the Notts C, Bradford and Wimbledon games, only Bradford look a solid bet, but despite the 4-1 Col U looked dangerous at times and hard-working. Is it really possible that Walsall will continue to falter too?

We will finish above Walsall.

I’d be surprised if we did. They’ve had a lot of draws recently but their performances have been ok. Wouldn’t surprise me if they win 3 or 4 on the bounce at some point and pretty much put the autos to bed.

It may be a poor league, not sure how that’s ever measured? However it’s turning into such a belter of a finish, isn’t that what we want? Drama, anxiety, joy, despair and so on. We’re in a great position for a heap load of all that. Bring it on.

You'd have to fancy Bradford for the title at this stage. They're the only one's with any sort of momentum.
