 I had to have a spinal decompression surgery good few years back to avoid just such an outcome, best wishes to him , a proper ref in the Collina mould

Great ref and a lovely guy. I saw him refereeing at Frickley when he was on his way up. A bloke in the crowd was giving him abuse over a decision. Uriah just walked up to the terrace and said "calm down".

Wasn’t he the ref at Oakwell when they had 2 sent off for trying to cripple Copps.?

Should've had a third sent off but he bottled it. Otherwise a very good ref.

Now this fella was a good ref, always seemed to be calm and in control.

Always got the feeling we did well when he ran our games.
