Salford No6

Fornah.....watched them against county and he stood out. Same tonight for me.

Wouldn't be upset to see us signing him if we went up. Big, strong, gets about, ball sticks to him, tries defence cutting pass.....everything we have been looking for.

Seems to be bossing centre of pitch and popping up everywhere.

Agreed.

His contract is up at Derby at the end of the season.

What a player he is. Best CM performance I've seen against us.

Late to the party some of you. They played MK on Sky early in the season and looked a class above.

Doesn't sound like the kind of player we would look at

He looks the part because he’s big and athletic. I preferred Ossama Ashley for them in midfield.

Ashley was decent Gaz but it just seemed no matter where we turned or played a ball Fornah was there and then he drove forward and played a through ball. Not first time I've seen it either.

From them I would happily take;
Fornah
NMai
Ashley
Tilt
Haks

Agree with fornah and ashley, i thought haks was poor tonight, tried a few little tricks bit nothing much came off, when lost possession was slow getting back

Big and athletic should be a high priority for this and most levels.

Agree, but you could still see a touch of class in the bits he did. Him over Gibbo 8days of the week.......yes 8.

Haks is absolutely wasted at wing back for them. Criminal playing him there. Makes Gibson look like Stuart Pearce defensively.

I see people would seem to take salfords players over ours thinking they are better.

But those players over the course of the season now sit 10 points behind ours and 4 points outside of the playoffs, they all cant be that great

He named five who he would take, by my estimation there are at least that number in our squad that need replacing.

All about setup and formations.

Some of those named players, playing in our current setup would have made a massive difference over a season.

Still don't know why we didn't get rid of Close and give his wages to Haks! talk about value for money.

Haks turned us down as he thought he had a deal sorted abroad, and then it was all too late

We dont know what haks wanted, maybe had no intentions of staying in league 2.
But ended up because nobody above wanted him and season had started before salford came in. I doubt he would of gone there soon as the summer transfer window opened

Lets face facts, we'd take any of their midfield

Haks didn’t want to stay so no point saying we should have kept him.  Apart from when he hit the post, he was anonymous last night.

Much the same as the 3 times I saw him towards the end of last season, play offs included..

But some just seem to think we wernt willing to fork out, where it was more likely we were not going to be held to ransom by an agent.
