Not selling on the day seems daft. Can they keep one or two sections free for walk ups.
The online ticketing system is shut down. A mate had just messaged me who has been to the club shop/ticket office.Just 7 tickets remain unsold.Probably will be sold by close of business and then it will be communicated that the home areas have all sold out.
Sounds like the crowd will be greater than the 11265 needed to take the season's league average over 8K for the first time in Tier 4 since 1968-69

Last time we were in this league under Fergie we averaged only just over 6k. I was also watching some of the highlights from 2012/13 recently - bearing in mind we'd just been in the Championship for 4 years and we ended that season champions of L1, the attendances didn't look anywhere near as good as they do nowadays. Average was 7.2k but boosted by some bigger crowds towards the end of the season, and the fact that we used to give the likes of Sheff Utd 4k tickets back in those days.

Unless we extend the north stand backwards above the fitness centre! We've gone from offering away fans 4400 to 1500. That's quite drop and if the board do want us to return to the championship it will have to be something that is addressed.
This is my point exactly GazFirst, in the 22 seasons since we regained our league place, discounting the COVID season behind closed doors, we have always averaged over 6KIn the 33 seasons before that we only once averaged over 6K, in 1975-76, and in 19 of those seasons it was less than 3KThat is a first generation of large growthPrior to the Keepmoat opening, we had not had over 7K average since 1969-70. Since we moved (and discounting the COVID season) we will have had over 7K in 13 out of the 18 seasonsThat is a second generation of noticeable growth from a higher start point
It’s quite unusual for the club to put out a specific message about urging Bradford fans not to turn up without a ticket. I wonder if there is specific Info/ or Police intel that there is a group intent on doing this ? I remember Hull did this at Lincoln some years ago and it caused all sorts of grief.a group of about 150 turned up at sincil bank without tickets in a sellout crowd.

I can understand that lots of fans in their position on the brink of their team’s automatic promotion - Bradford win and Walsall lose - would want to BE THERE! (We were disgruntled with Hull City and the prize is far greater tomorrow.)

It looks like by reducing the away allocation, it has allowed us to fully utilise the East and west stands by having the segregation area to the two sides of the away fans in the away end. Makes sense to me.
