E45 open now, another 130-odd tickets and the last block in the East Stand.

Surely when they shift it’s a no brainer to start selling North Stand tickets.

I think it's fair to say the vast majority of keen Rovers fans, who can make the game will have secured their place by now. The remaining tickets are going steadily rather than being snapped up immediately. All the logistics will have been sorted by now so all that remains is for us to look forward to the game and a great atmosphere.

We know how much noise can be generated. The Barrow game felt and sounded like a full house with just over 10k in attendance, so I'm damn sure we can make the place rock with near 11k home fans.

Should have just given Bradford 3000 tickets

The result's more important than the gate receipts on Saturday. We don't want to do anything that's going to help them.

Almost every time we sell the away end out to local rivals, it gives them a lift and they pump us. At last we've wised up.

F*ck them.

Correct, exactly what I think

That's a rather childish viewpoint Scawsby.

And I agree 100% with it!

Other people more in the know than me are saying that city have the central 4 blocks in the north stand.N38, N39,N40 and N41.
As such I don’t believe the concourse allows for seg outside of this.

So why haven’t they opened the two small blocks on the West stand? W32 and W33!

So why haven’t they opened the two small blocks on the West stand? W32 and W33!

The 262 in W32 are the top ten or so rows, as the bottom 10 rows don't have any seat backs and are all netted off. W33 all have seat backs removed and again is netted off so this small block of seats won't be on sale until time and finance allows for these seats backs to ever be replaced.

That’s strange they opened W32 and now tickets for the game are showing as no longer available, there was still seats available in the East!

Thinking about it, it's probably because the whole block contains 262 seats and then someone has realised that half the seats aren't functional so have to change the allocation within that block to the seats that only have seats backs. For the Palace game I seem to remember this was just over 100.

It's either that, or some seat backs have appeared from somewhere and have been fitted.

Some have been saying for a long time about the shoddiness of the broken seats - they’ve even offered their own time free of charge to replace them! Beggars belief that this is still a thing preventing more fans attending and revenue coming into the club.

It prevented more fans attending the Crewe and Palace games!

I’ve been golfing this morning and there were three lads in our group who haven’t been to see the Rovers for quite a while but they are football fans and still take a fleeting interest into how we are doing.
After chatting with them today about the upcoming game in two sleeps time they are going to try to get tickets for the game.
I would imagine that there will still be plenty of people who are likely to be doing the same thing.

If they aren't on the database then they have no chance of getting a ticket. Unless someone they know can buy them a ticket with a name that hasn't been bought for this match.

Yes, I know but for all I know they may be on the database.

And this is precisely why we should be pulling out all the stops to get as many people in as possible. Who is to say these three and others like them won’t end up getting a season ticket for next year. This is a golden opportunity to win new support and return lapsed supporters to the fold.
Complacency is not the order of the day here and if the broken seats have still not been fixed all these months later I think it’s very disappointing.

This isn’t about points scoring it’s about passionately wanting to see your club grow.

Well done to the club for opening up another block in the west stand. I’m sure they’ll continue to sell steadily.

Totally agree, it's just slack from the club. Pure and simple.

If we were selling this many tickets every game then I'm sure repairing the seats would be higher up on the priority list.

There's been a few times now it's been an issue. It's just basic stadium maintenance.

If there are over 100 seats not available beecause they don’t have backs just take them from seats in the north stand that won’t be getting used?
That works if someone is available to remove and refit them. That would probably pay enough to buy seat backs for the rest then.
