Not really - the last 5 games were an anti climax for sure, but we’d smashed all the rest at 2ppg and 2 goals per game as far as I can remember.

Agree it was a pretty shit end to the year, probably helped by the fact we expected to walk League Two.
Note: Fergie stayed one year after, we finished 15th in League One.

Perhaps we don’t like one horse races. Currently as it stands with just 2 games left, 4 teams can win the title and 6 still have a chance of automatic. The top of lg2 and bottom of championship is where all the excitement is… and we’re right in the thick of it…bring it on

For me, it would be nice to win the title but all I want is promotion, I can’t sit and watch another season of teams plonking 10 men behind the ball every week!
