Well done Will Flint

On being awarded young player of the season while on loan at Darlington, a fabulous recognition of a young player with a good future lying in front of him.
It has been a great pleasure for me to have watched his development since first meeting him and his family when he was trialling and playing for our u15/16s a gangly youth with a shock of hair that had obvious talent above the norm.
It soon became evident that not only was he talented but had a desire and the will to learn from others, listen to coaches, and was kept grounded and supported by a great family who were constantly at games and training sessions in all weathers giving him advice and support all the way  and travelling  all over the country to games he played in, and still do.
Congratulations also to all the coaches Steve Welsh, John Buckley, Paul Green, Tony Cook and spotted by Kev Wilds and many others who helped him on his way, Darlington's award is testament to your great work making him a player of great promise, and the best of all what a great lad on and off the field of play.

Superb Will. The good news keeps on coming. Hopefully Bobby can carry it on Wednesday vs Chester.

Are you going, Selby?

No MR unfortunately not, but will be in contact with his dad and get a link to the commentary.
