Now the dust has settled I think back to games away at Walsall, Chesterfield and more recently Salford feeling so dejected and low to the point that I didn’t feel like getting out of bed the next morning. It just goes to show that I get far too low with the lows so I’m going to enjoy this sweet moment for a very long time.

Was very emotional last week and all the build up to this one I’ve felt no nerves and just wanted to enjoy promotion whether it was going to be a 2nd placed finish or not. But watching TB carry that trophy out the emotions came back and never felt such pride to follow this special club. 10 years is a very long time to wait for your club to come alive again and I feel now we have risen and there is a real aura when GM has spoken that we could surprise a few next season. Some great fixtures to look forward to also. A break from football can now commence. Sigh of relief. You bloody reds!

Best manager we've had since O'Driscoll. I never lost faith in him. Those calling for his head at points this season need to eat some humble pie.

Shows difference in fans we came away from Salford a little disappointed but thinking that point may be really important at the end of the season

Club backed him and he delivered. He'll probably think we should have won it by more and he's probably right.

Frankly who cares?  We've seen effort, great skill, mistakes, crazy red cards the lot. But most importantly we've been a team and stuck at it with players improving.  Let's hope they keep improving next year.

That was my take on it too, it was a decent game & point.

A few reminders of what he said in past.. MTO feb 2024, “you might think I’m mad but I’ve still got an eye on the playoffs” The same night he also said to a fan when challenged about Broadbent being poor “you just wait and see he’s gonna be some player”

After the Crewe play off defeat, we all know grant said we will be going for the title next season.

MTO event this January, grant basically said “I believe we can still catch Walsall”

It just shows the incredible belief he has in the players. I’m so pleased for him on a personal level too because he will have wanted that title not just for us but for his mum also.
