I don’t think Grant would touch him now, he had his chance and didn’t take his offer, that said one hell of a player for us !
Like mcann said after the playoff defeat, if any player didn't want to come back to try and win the league, then call your agent and leave. Adelakun probably didn't fancy working hard and going for it. He went for the easy ride at Salford, poor attitude that keeps him from being a championship player.

Nothing to do with not working hard. He was offered a lot of money to sign abroad which he fancied, missed the deadline we gave him, and then the other promise of a deal fell through. Shit happens.
Different class player at the league two level, I think the way his mind works is 2-3 moves ahead of others. He would definitely work in league one, not sure why it didn’t before. He worked in a way that I imagine Billy does for the club, he raises levels, expects and demands more. Not sure he burnt any bridges to my knowledge, I assume he was offered a deal and turned it down ( obviously you can do that in a good or bad way, not sure why you would do it in an unprofessional manner though) I could see the possibility of Salford paying him more than we did too. Is fitness an issue though, he really struggled towards the end, he did run his boots off though, and he hasn’t had a full season with Salford either.Mcann has a way of getting the most out of these players -Wilkes another in that line, although I know that Grant had to treat him differently to the rest of the team, not sure the current squad with their close knit nature would appreciate that.
Didn't want to take up the challenge, thought he was too good for Rovers. He had his chance, he misses out.

With haks and biggo, it was a one shot deal, no and you are gone. Maybe the character of jo is what deserving of a 2nd offer just as important as the skill level?
Probably demanded wages exceeding league 2 teams budget. In the end probably was left getting an okay deal at Salford but probably not what he expected. I'd guess probably what we offered him or similar
