All the TSL v TLT talk has got me thinking about the teams they played for - so I'm asking which of the Donny teams they played for would win in a hypothetical multi-verse clash. Donny in their prime when we came back to beat Barrow in the turning point of 23/24 season, or the huge win v Bradford in 24/25 with a a big crowd and all the pressure to get over the line?
Line ups were:
v. Barrow (4-2) 2023/24 v. Bradford (2-1) 2024/25
15 Thimothee Lo-Tutala 19 T. Sharman-Lowe
6 Richard Wood 4 T. Anderson
5 Joseph Olowu 17 O. Bailey (c)
3 James Maxwell 3 J. Maxwell
2 Jamie Sterry 2 J. Sterry
24 Zain Westbrooke 8 G. Broadbent
37 Matthew Craig 27 C. Crew
17 Owen Bailey 15 H. Clifton
20 Joe Ironside 9 R. Street
47 Hakeeb Adelakun 11 J. Gibson
7 Luke Molyneux 7 L. Molyneux
Subs (who got on the pitch)
10 Tommy Rowe B. Sharp
4 Tom Anderson J. McGrath
14 Harrison Biggins Z. Westbrooke
21 Kyle Hurst J. Sbarra
8 George Broadbent E. Ennis

Dedfo go with Bradford line up. We hardly gave Bradford a sniff v XI men with Teddy having very little to do. Until the penalty save and his very next goalkick!
Barrow was a comeback win from 2-0 down when we were less than convincing until we got our first goal.

Agree with Baz there, though, for memorable moments, that Biggins goal is right up there with any, probably due to the circumstance of us being pretty dead & buried, seemingly.

I felt we had more swagger in 23/24, Haks, TLT, Craig and full-pomp Ironside the difference, and I never though we were going to lose. We'd all literally or emotionally booked our tickets to Wembley, but we just couldn't get it over the line.
24/25 not quite as flamboyant or free-flowing, but those boys got the job done when it counted, Street the main man, but I've never felt such zen at a penalty against as I did v Bradford - and I know others on here shared the same feeling.
23/24 got my vote for swagger and dominance reasons, but not surprised it's so close!

Very close but I went the Barrow side. There was a lot of goals in that side. Yes Street was brilliant but as a whole we had more threat.
Worth saying on the individual games Bradford were awful. Yes we pressured them but they were very poor and had a 5’7 striker who was never going to hold anything up. Then their man lost his head.
Barrow were very good amd would have beat this Bradford team imo

For me out of the players that were different in those starting line ups, every 2023/24 beats every 2024/25 player (peak Ironside vs Street very close) so I’ve gone for the 2023/24 team.
6 Richard Wood 4 T. Anderson
5 Joseph Olowu 17 O. Bailey (c)
24 Zain Westbrooke 8 G. Broadbent
37 Matthew Craig 27 C. Crew
17 Owen Bailey 15 H. Clifton
20 Joe Ironside 9 R. Street
47 Hakeeb Adelakun 11 J. Gibson

Slightly off topic I know, but I was fortunate enough to attend the Barrow game and it is right up there, probably in my top 5, atmospheres at a football match.
