Was there the last time we played them in the Championship. Nice ground, shame about some of their supporters! It was bloody carnage outside the stadium after the game!

Not the best draw really. Semi localish is about all that’s good about it. It’s not a good ground really either, typical mid 90s new build. Nothing to it all and probably will only attract a sub 12k crowd

No, the one where Neil Sullivan laid out their striker when he was through on goal. Half of us winced and the other half cheered. We lost the game, if I remember right, but put on a decent show.

It took the arrival of mounted police to sort out the shenanigans outside after the game. It brought a new meaning to the phrase ‘welcome committee’.

Marvin Emnes wasn’t it? He knew about that when he eventually came round. Wired.

Will always have fond memories of the night billy sharp scored a worldy against them, a few days after his son died and he revealed the t-shirt saying “That’s for you son”. Still brings a lump to my throat. Hopefully billy can produce another one against them and we get a different result as we went on to lose that game.  :clapping:

That would have been a couple of seasons before the one I went to..

Looks like we’re due a win up there.!

I was there and I'm positive we were infiltrated by a group of about 20 or so knuckle daggers, who werent interested in the game and were goading the Boro fans throughout the game, gesturing to meet them outside. The Boro fans obliged and wasn't one of our coaches bricked in the mess that followed?

These Leeds or Hull fans on a day trip weren't even sat/stood near our main congregation, they were stood half way down the stand making complete knobs of themselves. I used to go to plenty away games back then, and never saw that group before or after.
