I don't mind the drive to Exeter en route to camping in Cornwall - i haven't done a drive to Plymouth for several years tho but recall it being busier than the one to Exeter.
We generally set off for Cornwall about 4am and aim to hit Bristol at 8 (including a stop for brekki and another one for the dog to stretch her legs) - bristol-Exeter is a piece of piss but I wouldn't necessarily wanna do it for a 3pm kick of on a sat (tho, i haven't seen the fixtures so dunno what day or time either game is scheduled for) I'd set off about 4qm and make a full day of it.
