I think some folk on here have lost the art of a bit rib tickling.
Why is everyone so bloody serious all the time?
The apparent rib tickling isn’t funny though, nothing above has made me smile let alone laugh, it’s dull and negative.
More than happy to read something funny, and have a good chuckle, so please go ahead, tickle me ribs…. Do a funny…

Another clean sheet to add t his collection today at Ilkeston where Harrogate picked up a few injuries in the game.
My friend at the game said he was one pf three players who played 90 minutes had another good game and is becoming a fans favourite quickly with the Harrogate fans, and the manager in his summary mentioning his fitness levels in hot conditions.
So doing well and on to the game with Rotherham Tuesday night I will be at all being well.

I hope he does even better on Tuesday night, then, Selby.

Is it a 7pm kick off?

Alan i honestly don't know the time of KO they play Rotherham and Barnsley the next two games so will meet up with his pal coach Wood who with Ironside took time out with him with advice and encouragement when he was out injured, which was a nice touch by both.
Two games more important to do well in.

Alan he came on at 65 minutes as you say 2 goals down all three players came on at the same time who had played 90 minutes Saturday and made a difference to Harrogate's game straight away.
The first half ended 0-0 with both sides Rotherham as well looking short of attacking ideas neither side warranting being in front but Rotherham sharper on the ball but both sides going long back to front.
Rotherham made changes at half time including Jordan Hugill and a right winger with a lot of pace who were too much for the Harrogate defence and were much neater in their passing game opening up the Harrogate defence, scored  after a couple of minutes and then dominated the game until Harrogate  themselves brought on subs including Bobby.
It became a much more even game with Bobby looking composed matched Hugill's strength and pace and used the ball intelligently and was vocal organising the defensive line.
All well done until he tried to back heel a dangerous cross into the box which was slightly behind him and trying to back heel it out of the box put it directly to Hugill who despatched it into the corner of the net a mistake probably, could he do anything else probably not although if he had left it it might have avoided everyone.
The rest of his game was good, slick passing and two really good tackles to stop attacks and a danger up front from set pieces.
Grant McCann and Cliff were there  watching a pity he didn't get longer, and the difference in the forwards of a first division attack to a second division attack obvious to anyone there.
So Rotherham, looked like they can be got at, no great shakes as a football side although looked sharp when they did play short but surprised me how much long ball they played into the channels for runners.
Until making changes at half time they were toothless the subs making a big difference the right winger especially quick and direct Hugill class in front of goal taking his chances very well but matched up when Bobby came on for strength and pace until caught out with the cross ball that was awkward to handle.
First time for years to Harrogate and only once before but really enjoyed it

Well it looks like he will have his work cut out at Harrogate as I have just seen that Harrogate are favourites with Newport County to get relegated to the National League.
It is a great test for the lad he is looking at facing up to two challengers, first forcing his way past long standing players at the club, then being part of a team where success is just not getting relegated.
Watching them the two games v Guisley and Rotherham it looks to me that goals could be in short supply although the defence and a hard working mid field look decent.
So a lot to aim for if he gets the chance and in those two games he did well, so looking forward to more than one battle.

So on to the game tomorrow v Barnsley which will ne interesting as one who I saw at Pontefract Collieries and impressed Jack Shepherd could well be in the opposition's side to compare their progress.
I will hopefully get a bit of news about Sam brown and Will Flint if they play and will post how they get on with Bobby if I have the info.

Don't know, he has played well in all the friendlies up to press, has proved one of the fittest, but like Anderson and Wood experience seems to count a lot until things go wrong, then the managers send for the cavalry of younger players, and if it goes right live off the glory.
At Harrogate they have not the same numbers, if they go three at the back he will be a shoe in, if a back four I would pick Bobby and his pace as Hugill rolled over the others Tuesday.
The left sided central defender looks a good player who like Bobby is new to the club.
Their next two games are against Barnsley tomorrow and Carlisle the Saturday after so he needs to keep his form of the games he has played, If so on form he should have every chance.

A hard game for Bobby today as Barnsley largely outclassed Harrogate looking a very good side all over the pitch, Roberts and Shepherd especially strong down the middle two big strong mobile defenders.
Barnsley looked a class act, and a far more potent threat going forward than Rotherham last Tuesday and played some good fast flowing football, and could well be a big threat at the top end of division1 this coming season.
So a lot to handle for Bobby, who to be honest looked the only Harrogate defender who looked like he could manage the barnsly forwards for pace. Pholips the striker quick and a handful.
Inevitably in the second half they clashed as they had done a couple of times and the Barnsley player had to leave the field after a little help striking his head on an advertising boarding behind the goal line.
Bobby immediately gained the respect of the Barnsley fans who kindly chanted at him w**ker w**ker for about five minutes and off, off, off ignored by the referee who gave a goal kick.
A battling performance had a good header saved from a set piece corner although it went straight at the keeper but well won, had a couple of moments on the ball which can be expected when constantly outplayed and the ball mostly in their own half, a great learning curve he managed for the most part against a very good side a 6.5/7 from me.
The only other player I have news on is Max Adamson playing in Perth Australia who I rated but was released before last season and spent last season in New Zealand, one of those who suffered us not having a u21s.
Up to todays game in his last three games after being moved from the right wing to striker he scored two goals in each of the games, and although his side lost 3-2 today scored and had an assist in his sides two goals, so seven in four not bad buddy, he is living the dream, has been signed by his club for next season, and showed a lot of balls to pack up and go down there initially to New Zealand where he ended up his sides top scorer and attracted the offer of a trial in Australia.
Well done Max your doing great yourself and are a credit to the academy and the coaches that helped you.

We don’t want a repeat of YAURS but poor grammar does grate on me to be honest.

The use of ‘of’ instead of ‘have’ is one of the worst examples of the degradation of the English language these days.

So yes, I care.

I know this is OP but that is a crass & pathetic attempt at deflecting an unwarranted defamation of a poster whose posts go back further & have far more credence than yours.

A simple apology ‘might’ not be beyond you?

Let’s wait & see.
