Calling it now. They’re going down.

A club on the decline with a new unproven manager signing unproven and injury prone players.

I work with a Rotherham fan & he is also concerned they could go down, currently 5/1 to be relegated, might drop a few quid on it.

Rotherham seemed for several years, too good for League 1 and just not quite there for Championship survival (Barnsley the same)
Anyone in the know, know what’s changed for them to be tipped for Lge2? Would be great for Rovers to be ahead of these two rivals.

Always seems to happen they that do well and we do shit, and then we start doing well and they do shit. Their turn to languish in League 2 for a while whilst we get into the Championship!

They aren’t tipped for league 2 at all. We are a smaller price to be relegated than them.

Just a fan stirring it a bit, nothing more. They won’t go down at all.

I can’t imagine they will either, given how far infront of us they were when we last met in the league. I know a lot can change in a couple of years but it is typically a gradual decline rather than a full on slump.

That’s a bold prediction - anything could happen.!

I’m not saying they will go down, nor that I particularly want them too.

You could make the same statement about all the clubs in the third division and you would prove to be correct twenty times..

Of course it can. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. But I would suggest there’s quite a few more obvious candidates than them to go down, hence my view the fan was ‘stirring it’.

You must be the only Rovers fan not to want them to go down, personally I hope they hit a slump that last decades, shithouses.

There’s a difference between not actively wanting them to go down, and being happy if they do.

I like schadenfreude, especially when it happens to someone else.!

Now third favourites for relegation. So tipped to go down.

They look in real bother. I can't see where their goals are going to come from, especially with Nombe injured and the Everton loanee looking like a Temu Beto.

They've scored 4 in 5 games.
We've scored 6 in 6 games.

Barnsley not going down

There I've stuck.my long neck out and Rotherham probably not

What would 10 quid double be priced at for both to stay up

Only Cardiff and Luton have conceded less goals than us! :)

They remind me of us 2021-23.

Sounds like their board/owners are sleepwalking to disaster. Gone through a few managers. Trying to spend less but expecting the same output.

They're surely going down. Their keeper is Mitchell 2.0.

I was told at the start of the season the money was drying up there.

As long as we are safely up, you’d hope they can survive. With Wednesdays coming down and Barnsley nowhere, that will be a relative rarity to have 4/5 South Yorkshire sides in the same league.

I reckon 4 more wins should be enough and well capable a great test for us next week against Cardiff.

I put a four way relegation bet on at the start of the season.
West Ham,Oxford,Rotherham and Newport to go down.
£5 stake potential win of £2113
Cash out currently at £490 which I'm tempted by as it would pay for me and my lad's season tickets for next season.
