Even less impressed with the referee.

Only refereeing one team!

Some poor decisions. Some of thise were never fouls then.

England are poor defending down the left.
Lets get forward quicker and push spain back.

Ian wright believes that russo must be injured because if not then was a poor decision to take her off.

Let's hope Ref keeps out of it but I wouldn't bet on that

Well, they've been resilient. Just needed something to break for them but, the ref helped Spain when they don't really need it.

You have to admire Spains technical ability. It takes alot of coaching and alot of practice.

Nailed on for SPOTY..

Came on vs Sweden, hand in both goals and scored in the shoot out.  Scored the winner in the semi final, creates the equaliser tonight and scores the winning penalty.

Never mind the winning goal last time.

A damehood too.?

God we are shit at taking penalties but as long as the other team are worse we dont care.

Hannah hampton does her homework. Kelly loves a winner in a final

No but for pure footballing talent they are the better side.

Credit to England’s defence - it isn’t just attacking which wins the game.

You know what, I think she'd do a great job managing a men's team.

It's the logical next step in her career.

Clearly got the tournament mentally nailed but some poor decision on selection. Guess the trophy talks though.

Well done England ladies  :scarf: they were not great in my opinion during he tournament, but they really played well in the final, creating more clear cut chances and going toe to toe with Spain.

3 stand out players for me …

Well done J Carter , she was the best player for England today, and after the all racist abuse.

Hampton the keeper is a very good player, and seems to be very good with penalties.

Kelly, I can see why we keep her as super sub, it just works, but she is a hell of a player with quality most don’t have.

The negative for me is James - I am disappointed after all the hype I have heard, but her expressions don’t look like she is present? I am told she will be the best in the world eventually. I hope so for our sake, but she doesn’t have the right body language for me.

Any way - GET IN ENGLAND

Keeper did very well. Thought the other one who left in a paddy wasn’t a loss in terms of contribution. The new lady appears more about the team and less about her.

Totally agree with your selections. James is an enigma and the hope is she'll mature into a better player, and show her best like she did 3 years ago. (She did her bit defensively today) She and Agymang up top could be devastating. They and a few others are the future now as Williamson, Mead and Bronze must be close to international retirement.
