Seems to be a rumour going round that they have inquired about groundsharing with Rotherham due to a safety certificate refusal  Your guess is as good as mine if there is any truth in it

They have a stand which is struggling to be made safe and get a certificate. I'm not sure this will cause the whole 'stadium' (loosest sense of the word!) to be closed.

Thought it was only the north stand that wasn't getting a certificate if work to bring it up to standard wasn't complete

Surely even with the north closed it would still be bigger than Rotherham

I think the capacity will be about 25000 with out the 9000 seater north stand. The north west corner was shut years ago and other areas having had capacity reduced.

This is fantastic. Hope they get relegated with a record low points and minus GD.

If he wants 100 million he is going the wrong way about it, it's worth about 40 million at the most in a few weeks will be about 20 million if they can start the season but who knows

Their manager is now leaving. This does look a basket case situation.

I’ve heard no season tickets have been sent out, plus no tickets have been sold for their first game of the season at Leicester (Sunday 10th)

Yes sold it to another company owned by himself to aid FFP. Now pays himself rent.

 They thought he was going to be their saviour and shoot them upto the premiership, but its looking more and more like he is another Benefactor in it for himself and will do things like setting fire to their stand!

Andy Giddings has wrote on x that Wednesday's players might not be paid their wages for July and sources say that they are considering refusing to play any matches.

It just gets worse for the club.

Just seen this on FB

Sheffield Wednesday North stand will be closed for this coming season

*4 years to get the necessary repairs done
*2025 chairman commissioned a new structural report from a Bangkok company - turns out they never visited Hillsborough

Crazy times at Sheffield Wednesday

Our wonderful FA, charged by their Charter with 'looking after the game at every level', look like they could be seeing two clubs under their care actually folding. Has there EVER been a multi billion £ business as badly managed as football in England?

Can't understand why the guy isn't selling. Surely it's costing him millions, if it's at the point where he can't afford to pay the tea lady, never mind the players, then surely anyone in their right mind would just sack it off so you aren't being bled dry every month.

Surely that’s a breach of contract.?  Can the players just walk away as free agents.?
