What a disgusting decision by the ref. There was no contact whatsoever there.

Brum should be 1-0 up.

I think the season has already shown multiple times that officials are becoming more and more pathetic. I would be interested to know just how many minutes fans lose per season for stoppages from ridiculous decisions.

Let's see how he performs but the guy we have tomorrow at Mansfield has only ever been in charge of a single League One game before.

Thi game is very physical from Both sides. Ipswich just got a penalty which was nearly the same as ours last week. Where it looked no intention but Dykes hand was in the air

Wouldn’t call it shocking by the letter of the law his arms were both in the air the ball hit his hand as did the one last week for us.

Thought that co-commentator was incredibly biased towards Birmingham.

Stocks, generally speaking, in a 90 minute game the ball is in play for around sixty minutes.

On average the ball is only on play in Prem League games for something like 58 minutes

So each game we pay to watch players working out how to keep the ball "dead" for 32 minutes

Multiply that 20 home games for a Prem Team and that's 10 hours a home fan of a Prem Team misses out on action

However I don't know if your question related to VAR decisions in particular though , so apologies if I answered a question you didn't ask lol.

Wouldn’t call it shocking by the letter of the law his arms were both in the air the ball hit his hand as did the one last week for us.

His hands were way up in the air, so he must have realised there would be risk of the ball hitting them.

However with the Exeter player I am confident that he moved his hand when the ball hit the back of his hand.

My issue is the defender jumped an the attacker headed the ball onto his hand the defender could not even see to move his hand or hands ,when you jump your arms do go up in the air ,if the defender moves his hand to stop the ball penalty all day long but not when it's accidental

Me too Nimmo, when watching live my first thoughts was that it was a harsh decision,But after studying the replay I believe the ref made a great spot(He was much closer to be fair) and the Exeter player did indeed move his arm into its path at the last moment and knew what he was doing, not seen the Birmingham/Ipswich incidents yet so cannot comment on them.
