Sublime goal

Bailey deserves some praise for that goal. Might not be a word often linked with Bailey, but that jump, hang and precision on the header was sublime.

Vaguely similar to his goal against Wrexham in the ten in a row. Same end as well.

The cross deserves a mention too from Maxwell

I thought Maxwell and Nixon were both very good today.

Seems crossing is a dying art. Other than the goal I don't recall many other decent crosses. They had one where it just needed someone to tap in. I've often been critical of Nixon going forward but he was okay today. I do feel like Rotherham were targeting him second half

McGrath played a superb low cross from the left wing late on which just needed a touch to turn it into goal.

Nixon was okay… really?
He was excellent in the absence of Molyneux and Sterry. He did a heap load of work down that right hand side. The Caveman blasted his way through on quite a few occasions.

That cross is why Maxwell should always be 1st choice ahead of senior imo.

Bailey almost had another at our end too. What a run he's on.

Agreed with Nixon motm, another player who's in really good form.

I actually think it might be one of the best headers I've seen from a Rovers player, I say that without exaggeration. The jump was phenomenal.

Got a decent run on a static defender and leapt like a salmon, hung there as well, great goal

Slowed the video down this morning and it’s an unbelievable jump. It’s actually a clever header too.

Nice to see Reece James getting plenty of stick from the Rotherham fans too. It was a complete mismatch in challenging for that header.

Or Hayter at Wembley? Unmarked, yes. But a fair way out and used his brains to both be there and place it. Mind you, although I can't think of one right now, Brendan surely must have half a dozen entries?!

Yeah, combination of visualisation of where the ball may arrive and positioning of opposing players within that area. He’s a very intelligent footballer, just imagine how it would be if he was a little bit taller, but unbelievable how many headers he does win in all areas of the pitch.
