Such an incredible experience.

Stadium was absolutely amazing. Loved the bit before building atmosphere with their history reel and the lights dimmed, just a shame they spoil it with Barry Manilow

Some of our fans need to give their heads a shake though. One "fan" constantly shouting "kill him" any time our players were chasing down a spurs player, same fan and his mates shouting "she's got chlamydia" etc at female spurs fans and following up with "I'll rape your mum".

Apart from the numpties above stuffing coke in their noses and getting off their face, our fans were class, constant noise and didn't even feel like a real lost game for me.

First chance I've had to talk about the ground due to the site being unusable last two days.

I posted on my Facebook about how the stadium from the outside looked like a massive transport Interchange.
I even joked with Gazlaz on the way in how it resembled a giant Tesco extra , like the big one in Sheffield.
For me, the stadium just doesn't fit in the area. It's lost its community feel.

Going inside was like going through airport security, ridiculous!

The inside of the stadium itself is for multi use, I get that but it just didn't feel like a football stadium.
Too gimmicky and too americanised and it's so centred towards the executive side of things.

The only things I did like was the safe standing rail seats, I wish we had those in the black bank.
The Cockerell stood high on the stadium roof was a good touch.

My 17 year old son, who i thought would love it said he prefers the old style grounds as they've got more character.

I know football is a business and it's very money driven, but I came away from White Hart Lane a bit deflated and disillusioned with football.
The Gulf in football now is ridiculously huge.
Give me Valley Parade, Meadow Lane and Prenton Park any day of the week.

I sincerely hope that the big EPL clubs f**k off and join a European super league, maybe then we can enjoy a proper football league for a while.

Were you listening to our conversations after the game as they mirrored this, particularly the super league points.  Spurs are a bit different they've never been anything but that top level so their fans don't understand lower league football as much as some of the other premier league clubs.  But every time I come accross anything premier league as a fan I dislike it.  Over 40k in attendance yet places like Burton or Tranmere are much more atmospheric for sure (yes I know it wasn't a big game for them).  Maybe I'm nostalgic that football shouldn't have to be all nice and sanitised.

I thought as an away fan it was a bit of a pain, the area makes parts of Donny look like paradise and I thought the distance the coaches parked away was a joke, quite sad seeing the less able having to get taxis back even though we weren't on one.

If you think it is rough now you should have visited in the 70s and 80s....even into the  90s.

Before Spurs started the slow gentrification of the area it was more akin to Beirut or the Gaza strip.

On another note, the atmosphere was pretty poor but it can be absolutely incredible at times.

"The former Manchester United defender (Neville) stated that the Arsenal players ‘were brutalised’ by Spurs fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the North London Derby last week"

Horses for courses.

I’ve lived in quite a few different areas of London and I think Tottenham is about the worst area I’ve been to. I lived in Peckham as well!

The ground is quality. Better than Wembley. Area was okay. Antwerp for us too on that wall outside.

Really impressed overall.

Too ‘Americanised’ for me.

The big screens showing their first goal scorer coming ‘leering’ at you time after time…wtf!

Same with the match day man on the mic. Did we really ‘deserve’ to have his face & voice magnified as he ‘reminded us’ of the Spurs result when we last played them?

Nice light show…..unless you suffered from epilepsy (no warnings of flashing lights given).

And what were those scanners all about!

“Take everything out of your pockets, car keys, vapes, wallets (wallets! Mine ended up in a tray with two others!) belts off as well.” Why? A belts a belt. Way over the top. I didn’t take mine off & nothing alarmed as I walked through…….then ‘did off’ with 3 wallets!

Give me the Millenium Stadium any day of the week. A ‘proper’ football stadium.

Schoolboy error. I wait until the stewards are busy/distracted and then walk around the side of the scanner. If they catch me I plead ignorance.

Tip tip for next time.

He just waved us through and when I asked why he said we looked honest and he could trust us.

You must have been sat near us then although we left about 6.15 I think.

Several attempts to post my thoughts but echo alot of what's been said already, especially the Antwerp being a really good prematch pub, nice and relaxed, sat outside on the park wall on a lovely evening.

As incredible as that £1 billion stadium is, I think it makes me appreciate more what we have, along with our fellow provincial clubs of more modest size when our grounds are near full, we feel more part of the action and don't have to watch half the game on TV to see what's happening.

On the coaches, we were on coach 12 (Paul's coach) which was one of the last to depart the Eco, but our driver got across London well, so we were the 3rd of 4th coach to arrive, giving us plenty of prematch time to explore before settling into the Antwerp etc.

Unfortunately, the reverse happened thanks to The Highways Agency, we found ourselves snookered, and didn't get back to the Eco till 3am. I thought we were the last coach to get back.

A word on Paul Mayfield. The guy just doesn't stop doing so much for the benefit of the rest of us, plus keeping everyone entertained, fed and watered. He's a legend in his lifetime and one diamond that Spurs can't buy.

We've gone from White Hart Lane North London, to Drill Field, Northwich Victoria and back again, via Stoke, Cardiff and Wembley and much more in 50 years. Can Spurs fans claim such value for money?

Horrible complaints to be fair, I understand the pull of old school grounds but it’s not just a football stadium is it, it’s a multi use venue hence the difference with security, what happened at the arianna grande concert is the main reason for this and let’s be honest it could happen at any ground across the country on any given match day.

Nothing wrong with the screens, I actually wouldn’t mind having the gif of the player who scored on our screen.

The light show is fine, thought it was nice touch with the video that they played.

Nothing wrong with the stadium announcer on the screen, I mean some people are sat miles away from the ground high up so at least they can see what’s going on if they interview ex players etc.

Also another thing. Went to the Red Cow just outside Cheshunt station and it was cheaper than my local up here.
