We've got a proper player there he was excellent when he came on, we have got 4 excellent options at centre back.

I thought early on that he’s the best centre half of the four we have. Looked great every time he’s got an opportunity.

Have to agree with this. I didn’t go yesterday but from what I’ve seen of him he just makes the game look effortless. Him and O’riorden clearly look that stand out pair. That said, there’s no eyebrows raised whichever pair are picked. We are in very good order at that end of the pitch.
It’s like night and day the difference in quality to the other end.

CO’R has looked very good admittedly but it may not mean that SG and C’OR work best as a pair. They may do but it kind of feels like is a combo of JM/MP and SG/C’OR. Cat and Dog centre halves and all that.

It may be that they can play together btw, certainly not saying they can’t. Just I quite like a more dominant centre half, like MP in our setup.

As good as C'OR I'd rather be looking to develop our own young CB's and on that showing Grehan looks comfortable

Every time ive seen him play he always gives the impression that he's very calm and controlled, he looks an excellent prospect and he's never let us down. Passing, heading positionong he has the lot. He will move for big money in time.

Can only get better, now if we could only get a version that plays up top!

He's decent. Also put some okay crosses in when advanced yesterday. Looks assured on the ball. Strong area for sure CB

The best defender we have doesn't play for us, and with Olowu and Anderson missing, and O'Riordon apart we are not as strong in that department as last season IMHO.

So we don't miss Street and his goals, The keepers are matching last seasons keeper, Olowu and Anderson's form in defence wasn't the base we built promotion on? and you think I talk rubbish, yeh buddy.
O'Riordon a loan player who can be recalled by his club at Christmas is the only one who has consistently matched those players we have lost consitant form playing down the spine of our team this season.
As for Grehan i consider him a great prospect who I don't include in my criticism as he has hardly played in league games, the little I have seen him play like others I  thought he did well.

It seems I am still waiting for someone to explain the players that provides me with the explanation of who this season has the pace and finishing power of Street, the pace and covering tackles Olowu provided last season, who is as consistent as Anderson and as good in the air defensively was in the last dozen games, and ironically there are two threads on how good last seasons keeper was here, and one questioning the form of our two keepers this season some critics of Lawlor who may never have seen him play here previously, and don't realise he isn't as bad as some paint him but jump on the band wagon, and still think that up to press we are stronger down the spine of the team this season than last, where four of our best performers last season have left the club.

I think the bit that people were calling out in your post was probably when you said ‘the clubs best defender doesn’t even play for us’.

All entitled to our opinions but we can’t expect those opinions not to be challenged.

The post is about Grehan.  Not street or players not here. I like what I have seen of him

Sorry Selby I do not agree the 4 CHs overall are better than last year.
Faulkner may return in January if ORiordan is recalled by Blackburn. He will have to continue playing first team football for Harrogate
We are missing Street but the fee to have him here was  above our Threshold but I hope we are looking for someone similar for January.
Olowu was offered a contract he decided to go to Stockport. It looks like he’s now playing RCH of a three.

I believe Grehan is a good CH plays right side.
He could also play RB is distribution and crossing is good .
If ORiordan is not fit then I assume he will play RCH in a two against Burton

there's not a single mention of Street in your initial post. It started with "the best defender we have doesn't play for us" which is just rubbish. The 4 centre backs we have at the club now are better than the ones we had last season.

You lose any credibility for anything you post about Faulkner when you post nonsense like that for me.
