Gerrard is settled in Bahrain and Rohl apparently knew he wasn't first choice and withdrew. They've not long been taken over by the people that own Leeds so a decent project for someone.

Every job has an end . McCann has ambitions I doubt he’s given this one any thought , but I’m sure if Rangers knocked he’d answer and we’d be £500k better off . There are many managers who could do what McCann has done  at Donny and those players aren’t loyal to him any more than he’s is to them . Billy Sharp

Everything is possible. However some are more likely to happen than others.

McCann not even on the bookie’s lists. It’s a big job that needs more rep than he has.

If he has a good couple of seasons with us I think he’d leave for the Northern Ireland job when that comes up. O’Neill has a contract until Euro 2028.

I know Muscat (as a manager) pretty well from working on the Aussie stuff years ago. Couldn’t go from one extreme to another more than going from Russell Martin to him.
