Infantino is an idiot. His decision to postpone Ronaldo’s two match ban so he can play in the WC is a shocking disgrace. This man believes in his own hype.

If you listened to his initial introduction he talked about how he has been present at all the truce signing process’s that Trump has been involved in. He does believe that football has a major influence on world peace!!

He's the typical functionary who has to believe himself important to give his life meaning. The reality, of course, is that he looks, and acts, a clown. Hobnobbing with other clowns gives every one of 'em the opportunity to reinforce their ego again.

In the vernacular, he's a fatuous and conceited pillock. I never thought I'd say it, but bring back Havelange.

As far as who we could have got. Pot 2 and 4 we've drawn the best teams from those pots.

I've seen tickets are $45 for England members which is decent.

One thing for certain, if trump has anal polyps, infantino will have found them. Had to switch it off, too cringey and corrupt. USA for world champions anyone? It’s obvious FIFA will do anything to make it happen, maybe trump reffing USA games? F*ck*ng vomit making and an embarrassment to world football - or should I say, SOCCER!!!

You’ve seen wrong then. There’s not a single ticket for sale at that price .

Fifa has been desperate to properly crack America for ages. Infantino is just the latest suit to try. Hence why they've tailored the world cup to Trump's America. More teams, more content, more crap teams for everyone else to smash goals past, more money made... everything done to excess so they can say it was the biggest and best world cup ever with the most goals to milk the lucrative American market.

We could do with a world cup in Australia we'd fill the grounds out with the people that now live out there just like the Ashes

Not sure what has happened with that draw for England. I had assumed the entire draw was fixed so that the highest seeded sides had a very easy ride. We’ve been given some fairly strong sides there, all told. I assumed we’d like the other seeded sides be given the Vatican City and Micronesia so we had TV value longer into the tournament. Croatia and Ghana are not mugs and we are playing Panama broadly in their home continent / region. A curious outcome from such an obviously fixed draw generally.

The draw looks a tricky one to me. I wanted to avoid Brazil till later on at all costs, we could get them in the 1/4’s. Not that things always play out like that.

I have a friend who is a retired Pro referee. He says we should expect some very Trump-influenced decisions throughout and it has already started at the draw.

That’s exactly what we were discussing watching the draw, how many decisions will we be talking about in games involving USA? Concerning to be making these comments but after watching that last night, what lengths will that guy go to please Trump?
The FIFA peace award was an absolute joke.
After last night just wonder how many will thing twice about watching games other than the England games, not sure it will be my priority in the summer now.

Looked at the draw as a whole last night, there’s hardly going to be a decent game for three weeks, 48 teams is nonsense. Then the corrupt orange offender trying to use it as a propaganda vehicle, it’s enough to put you completely off.

From an England perspective, and perhaps more broadly UEFA, FIFA are not fit for purpose. However, there's plenty of support for Infantino elsewhere.

England v Croatia is the stand out tie
France v Senegal after that

Win 1 match and you're through also in this format

I don't think Croatia are as strong anymore.

England should not be fazed by any team in that group.

Who from Ghana or Croatia would get into our starting 11?

Wouldn’t wish this on any other player but a Ronaldo injury before this would be hilarious.

I can’t cope with the level of cringe when he scores a hat trick of tap ins against Uzbekistan and the whole crowd does “Siuuu” with him.

Please no.

Ticket prices for England Travel Club members released today.

So depending on how many loyalty points you have and available tickets in each category then the final could cost between $4185 and $8,860. Just astonishing!

And you have to pay upfront within the next 4 weeks or so.

In FIFA's defence, there's a considerable cost involved in the surgery to remove Infantino's head from Trump's backside.

So if a family of 4 wanted to watch England all the way to the final, the tickets alone for the cheap seats would cost $30k ?!?

Welcome to the People's Game.

Surely grounds are going to be empty in the group stages. Americans aren't going to pay that too that aren't their own games

I see they have managed to sneak advert breaks in, halfway through each half. This used to be a line FIFA would not cross.
