Fifa has been desperate to properly crack America for ages. Infantino is just the latest suit to try. Hence why they've tailored the world cup to Trump's America. Not sure what has happened with that draw for England. I had assumed the entire draw was fixed so that the highest seeded sides had a very easy ride. We’ve been given some fairly strong sides there, all told. I assumed we’d like the other seeded sides be given the Vatican City and Micronesia so we had TV value longer into the tournament. Croatia and Ghana are not mugs and we are playing Panama broadly in their home continent / region. A curious outcome from such an obviously fixed draw generally.
