Colin Miller?

This is a very good call. Miller was definitely in the Canada squad for the 1986 World Cup but I think we only signed him a few weeks after this. Could be slightly out on this though. We would need one of our resident historians to tie down the exact dates. I suspect we are very close to finally finding our first player.

Miller would've signed for us just after the 1986 World Cup... he's still listed as a Rangers player on squad lists for the tournament.

Habib Beye played in 2008 , but it was 4 years before he signed for us

No, but he was one who played at a World Cup (1970) then played for us circa 1982..

Is Les Cocker the only World Cup winner to have been at Rovers? Trainer with the 1966 Squad and Assistant Manager under Bremner (when he sadly died in their first season).
