If you had to pick one, what would you choose? Survival in league one this season or a chance to win the EFL trophy at Wembley.

It has to be both. We’re not talking about an 18 game champions league campaign - there’s a couple more games before Wembley. We need to be taking the next round very very seriously. Players and fans don’t get many chances for a trip to Wembley. Got to go for both full throttle now.

I have never seen rovers at Wembley (wasn’t living in the country in 2008) and by the same score, that’s nearly 20 years ago which suggests it’s a such a rarity. Relegation would be bad, but I’d edge my bets we’d be in the top 3 the following season.

No brainer survival all day long, over a pointless egg cup

I agree with the sentiment Upton, it is a no-brainer - longer-term sustainability over short term excitement.

However, I think the one thing can lead to the other - JPT victory in 2007, playoff final victory 2008? A trip to Wembley will bring in loads more fans, loads of buzz round the club and help us keep building. But I agree, all that's for nothing if we go down.

But let's be greedy and have both!

Would we really take many down to Wembley for an EFL cup?

Didn't we take 20k to Cardiff for the JPT v Bristol Rovers, I reckon we would match that at Wembley.
