You lost all credibility and respect years ago. If it was up to you, we'd still have schofield as manager and be playing in the conference north

You should be embarrassed with the nonsense you posted about him before you’d seen him play. It’s pretty evident you have no idea about football, so be a good idea to stop embarrassing yourself on here every dayYou lost all credibility and respect years ago. When we signed Neill Byrne I wondered wtf had gone wrong. I questioned everything, i thought we’d given up and I lost all faith in McCann (well certainly his recruitment anyway). I thought we were done. Absolute clown of a defender.I was wrong, just like 90% of the fan base was. The other 10% are your blind ‘no opinion the club is amazing’ lot. He’s turned our season around. I’m yet to see him panic, he just seems so calm in that back line and I definitely think McGrath will be learning something off him. You know when you just sense a player is perfect for your club? He’s him I think. Great signing.
I really do think it’s unrealistic that many didn’t have a negative opinion on his signing, even if just kept private. On paper it was terrible. Not one fan never judges a player before they’ve seen them play for us, we saw that with Elliot Lee who everyone said great signing (so talented so no dig). I would like to see Byrne here longer term, I think I have seen enough and really do believe he’s an important player to get where we want to.
Less than a minute before our equaliser Byrne handled in the box, defo penalty but got away with it.
It should be the other way around, McGrath just getting it to Byrne to play that pass forward to Gotts. Byrne will be our captain next season if Bailey leaves, which you’d imagine he will.
It goes both ways. People get excited over signings before seeing them too. Always mental when people get arse on over fans having opinions on signings before seeing them. Hypocrites those who slag them. On Hanlan. My god is he slow. Did his job very well yesterday and he should always start when Frankie isn’t fit.
Why would it be? So far he’s proving a good player to have in the squad.

He’s looked ok but as there was when we signed him, there are much better options out there. We are desperate for centre halves that can pass. Bring me a few of them instead.

He was fine on Saturday as far as defending goes. But his distribution from the back is poor. If we are to progress we can't have McGrath and Byrne as two ball playing centre backs.

If we can’t compile a list of 10 fully functioning L1 defenders of a good age at good value, it’s time to give up. We don’t need to be giving players contracts into their 35th year. Just no value in it and too much risk.
Do you think we could realistically sign 2 or 3 league one high quality ball playing CB’s at the peak of their careers.?Nowt wrong with having one CB a bit older and experienced to mentor the other players.Would be a concern if we had 3 in the 33-35 age group, but one seems ok..
