Appeal against his red card lost so gets 4 game ban as it’s his second sending off this season. Will miss rovers game in Vertu cup but his first game back is the game against us on Feb 10th

Was interested if this would come up (I didn’t dare start another Alfie May thread!).
Has anyone seen the sending off? Seems to me like he was just trying to get his hand on the lads back, and because he had long hair Alfie happened to catch it. Seemed very harsh to me, also if that lad worked another other physical / manual job he’d have to tie that hair back rather than have it flapping about.
Glad he can’t come back to haunt us (again) but feel sorry for the lad as that was a shocker for me.

I think Alfie was just trying to part the guy’s hair so he could see where the ball was.
