I have been in East Dene club on Doncaster Road no problem a few years back.

Good place to.park Car , East Dene but go to Old Mill pub (Dove Inn)  over road

Only downside the hill down to.Ground is a lot steeper on way back than you noticed on way down

Yes, the Dove was very good the last time I went. A few years ago now mind.

X19 bus for us.
Sounds like a good idea.

X19 used to be the express service but seems to stop in every village between Barnsley and Doncaster these days, not good if you've had a few beers.

My beer drinking days were over a long time ago, mate.

Actually, the journey's not too bad. Around 48 minutes.

Does anyone know why Rovers always put there will be no tickets sold on the day, when it's not actually down to them? Done it for this game, yet several people have rang Barnsley who have confirmed you can pay on the day and it's £2 more.

3000 away fans is a great effort for a club our size no matter who we’re playing. Especially considering we’ve been pretty average most the  season. Great effort all.

Someone asked ticket office. Ye it is. 1/3 of our home support going. Imagine if firesticks didn't exist

Really looking forward to this after missing Rotherham away on holiday and the first local away game I've took my lad too.

It's a tough game though with their attack I feel.  I've just been reading about their finances, quite surprising the wage bills there are at this level now, over £11m at Barnsley to finish mid table. It's tough for us to compete with that, almost shows how good a job we are actually doing.

Our last 2 away games were Wigan and Orient.

Can you imagine the ecstasy we felt today? What a fantastic day out.
