Do you all know what. I thought we gave the best we could.  But some can’t see it. I would sooner lose with the team giving it there all. But, I can’t be arsed with this anymore. Maybe in a few months or a couple of years I won’t be on this planet. I have seen good and a lot of bad.  So maybe put things in perspective. We love our club. My son will take my mantle on. We are awful defensively. Look at the goal difference. We cant seem to produce a decent 90 minute display The goals we conceded today were soft. Still right in the middle of scrap to stay up. If we manage to stay up we will need better quality. Quite a few are obviously not good enough for this level. Not saying they didnt give their all. Im saying we dont have enough quality

It’s clearly fantasy that we have a chance of making the play offs. That said, there are a decent number of nominally winnable games left. We could with a decent wind, make mid-50s. That’s nowhere near play offs though.

I thought we were decent first half. As ever, the opposition tweaked things at half time, we don’t react, and allow them into the game. We make mass substitutions and create nothing after them when chasing the game. Quite a familiar story.

We haven't got better players than what  started today that's why we dominated the first half unfortunately 2 poor goals conceded and 13 shots that weren't on target and 2 that were from us.

We need to learn how NOT to loose games . We were handed a win by good goal but it’s not recognising dangers and Herbie Kanes goal was less a fluke and more of an intelligent cross that we fell flat on . No one bothered to attact the ball and it ends up in the net.

I'm going to repeat it again. Plymouth didn't have any quality today. We had quality. Lee scored an absolutely amazing goal and in that first half he was flicking and controlling balls with absolute panache.

How far we have come from when? 5 years ago? 12 months ago? We are a L1 club, we are just hovering around at our rightful level. How long has it taken us to get out of L2 in recent history when we’ve actively tried to? Not very long.

Any of you see that differently then your expectations are higher than they should be. We didn't have the  funds to get two league one standard centre halves in January we get players that nobody else wants and think we can improve them.

I completely disagree with any chat about poor budgets or the funds not being there. It’s obviously not true. We are wasting money on some pretty ordinary men.
