Rovers museum open 10th to 12th April

Next weekend, In Rovers We Trust CIC will be opening up the Doncaster Rovers Football Museum in the South Stand for the public.

The museum will be open from 11am  to 3pm on Friday 10th April, then from 11am to 1.00 on Saturday 11th April and 11am to 3pm on Sunday 12th April.

On Friday 10th, stadium tours will be available on the hour every hour, subject to demand, but these are only available on the Friday.

The admission is free but donations would be appreciated for the Memorial to be erected in Hyde Park Cemetery to celebrate the lives of Doncaster Rovers founder, Albert Jenkins and all the other former Rovers players, manages, coaches and Directors that are buried there.

Regardless of whether you attend or not, you can always donate to the Memorial Fund via https://inroverswetrust.org/memorial-project which will direct you to the Ticketing Section of the Doncaster Rovers Website. You can also contribute by calling in at the box office during normal opening hours. It will be the last Friday of the Easter Holidays, so if you are stuck for something to do with the kids or just want to see a load of Rovers Memorabilia, come down and see it for yourselves.

We're aiming to build a permanent physical museum and a virtual museum one day. So far we have occasional pop-up exhibitions like this and the items posted on Instagram and Facebook:

ON FRIDAY 10 APRIL ONLY: STADIUM TOURS ARE AVAILABLE. They are FREE and will depart on the hour subject to demand. Tour slots available at 11am, 12 Noon, 1pm and 2pm. Maximum total group size of 10-15. No booking required. Just turn up and go. But please be aware numbers are limited.
