The most concerning thing is where do you draw the positives from

Because id rather try to stay positve than be negative.

The day i think we cannot win is the day i give up on rovers.

If the fans come into the stands with a negative outlook before kickoff then what message does that send to the players. We need to be.behind them now more than ever, not hammering them because that will not work at this stage of the season

But you aren't just believing we can win on any given day you're predicting we will win three out of those five and go unbeaten to the end.  I'm with ScawsbySteve, you're just after a bit of attention.

So predicting that we will go on a bit of a run is after a bit of attention?

Wasnt the OP asking for peoples predictions on how many points we will get?
Why is mine any more attention seeking than anybody else's?

We just need steady eddy performances and clear heads a couple of draws make it hard for us to fail to stay up and a complete turn around in the form of the teams trying to catch us.

I think that’s one of the reasons the performances have dipped. Players thinking they need ‘steady eddy’ performances to nick a result or two.

I’ve laid a bet on rovers to be relegated . (I know !) 40/1 seems like daft odds . Bet with head not heart.

You can get 175/1 on Barnsley to be relegated with Paddy Power .

Not the worst bet in the world either .

last time i checked you could back Man City for relegation this season at 30/1 and lay at 32/1

RE barnsley I said after their 3-1 win at Plymouth on the opening match I said it was a fluke SO IF YOU GIVE THEM THE 3 POINTS BACK that would help the cause

AS for Stevenage and the charity goals Blackpool (who we all thought would do well) showed their true colours. I GOT THAT BADLY WRONG WITH BOTH BLACKPOOL AND STEVENAGE

Last season it took until the 14th match for us to get a lucky last minute break when the Bradford equaliser was disallowed although a lot thought their player was on side.

On Saturday we got "our lucky break ? in the first match

Last Saturday we had a couple of ridiculously fluky results included Barnsley being given a couple of charity goals  (disallowed opening Plymouth goal ) & Stevenage also fluking a charity win at Blackpool.

DRAW PLEASE

pLYMOUTH GOT THEIR REVENGE ON BARNSLEY WITH INTEREST.

There is only Exeter from the bottom 4 that can catch us now. Wimbledon and Orient must be looking anxiously over their shoulders now, especially Wimbledon with the form they are in

Well I reckon we are both safe given our wins today , it doesn't make us any great shakes by any means but all told it's league one football for the both of us none the less next season .

The Millers were on top today and missed a couple of decent chances but once we got the first goal they disintegrated and it was as comfortable a win you'll probably get given what was on the line and where we are in the season .

My take is that if the Millers can be relegated from league one after a fairly successful if not championship run than so can we .

This is what happens when you get your recruitment massively wrong .

It will be interesting to see how we go next season with the wage bill slashed to £4.5m but given an £11.5m wage bill hasn't done anything more than keep our heads above water in league one it doesn't look too promising if the current strategy doesn't change .

That said I'd say first season back up for Rovers and survival with a few games to go isn't to be sniffed at .

What the summer will bring hand on heart is obviously debatable but in my opinion there's way more Rovers can take from this season than ourselves .

It's pretty likely we will know come Wednesday evening if we are safe or not. Some critical games on Tuesday and Wednesday that if they go our way, there is only an outside mathematical chance we can go down. Win Saturday and it is certainly safe.

Port Vale could in theory get 55 points by winning their final 7 games..
