Not many surprises , but I’d expect one or two of the contracted players to be loaned out if signings conflict . Shame about Middleton I thought he had potential but he never seemed to settle in the team . With Gibson going ,looks like  we’re looking for new left sided wingers and another fullback to replace Maxwell .

You don’t really announce someone available for transfer on these lists that has any financial value to the club still or where 1 party still wants/is open to staying. You’re getting zilch. We obviously don’t want a penny to be rid of Middleton and he wants to sprint out of here at the earliest opportunity.

You can judge from that announcement who he feels hasn’t been knuckling down.

Shame about Gibson. He's clearly got ability, intelligence, and works hard, at times he looked brilliant but never really managed to string together a run of good performances. Must be a mental thing, I know in his coffee interview he mentioned some confidence struggles. Ultimately the right thing for us to let him go I think, suspect he'll get a move to a good L2 club.

We are f**ked against Bradford next season if they are in League One. No Gibson or Sharp.

Kind of dissapointed Gibson is going, I think he has serious talent.

He has got talent but he doesn't deliver enough in terms of assists and goals. He was very good, especially in the first half of last season in LG2 but hasn't been able to reproduce it enough this. Similar with Middleton, the bottom line is we're too weak from the left.

He has a talent for giving away the ball in our own half.

We need physicality in the side, the team is easily brushed aside. Power and pace, especially in the midfield and a striker that makes defenders have to make decisions. We are too easy to play against at times. We have ability there is no doubt, but in this league sometimes you have to grind teams down, we struggle with that.
It would be nice if we need to pay fees for players that the manager is backed as is usually the case. The manager has to have a good pre season with who he brings in, we can’t afford to be trying to mend what has gone wrong half way through the season.

We need a steel spine to our team, one the opposition fear, and loses the battles in all areas of the pitch, we also need a midfield mester who controls the game.
