 Can you imagine having a mildly better than average season  scraping 8th place and suddenly finding yourself in  the Premier league . Will this mean more money gambled on the hope.of the promised land?

The Championship play offs will expand from four to six teams, from next season. As yet this doesn’t apply to League One or League Two.

It is getting ridiculous now. Teams finish 8th for a reason and could be ten points or more behind the last automatic place.
Players are potentially playing over 50games even without the playoffs.

To be fair that happens now. Sunderland finished 14 points behind 3rd place Sheff Utd last season & 24 points behind 2nd placed Burnley, and Bristol City (last spot in the play offs) finished 22 & 32 points behind!

I wouldn't say it was amazing or even close.  He didn't need to dive or even move his feet, if TLT had let that past him he would have been slaughtered on here.

Would of been disapointed if our keeper didnt save it.

Scunny we're beaten by a better Team first on the day , and secondly 24 points better than them on.the Season

They looked second best all over the Pitch and tbh were lucky to finish with 11 men

Whitehall was just as he was v Southend playing well but never afraid to let the opposition know he was there. He was lucky with a collision on their Keeper where it looked like he caught Keeper on head with his arm or elbow

Eventually Whitehall picked up an injury and had to leave the game after which Scunny looked doomed

Shame for Scunny and our ex Rovers contingent. Cal Roberts looks like a player and is seemingly destined for the EFL. Wonder if we’re interested.
