Has been absolutely horrendous this last 4 days. I'm lucky to manage more than 5 minutes on here at a time.

At my age I know sweet FA about IT, but some of you guys out there are experts. What on Earth is causing this, and what can be done to stop it?

Me too laid up after my operation and have more time to browse - spent more time watching snooker in bed and on the sofa than most at the crucible

It is very frustrating and particularly bad this last week.

The solution is quite simple. All it needs is for Admin to turn off cookies.

If they’re sat eating biscuits all day it’s a disgrace!

It's still here, in Colombia, intermittently.  Leave it an hour or so and it's gone. Til next time.

Agreed. Why does it vary so much?  I use several Search Engines - whether that makes any difference I don’t know - and recently there have been days when none of them get me on to the site.

It has been bad recently. After Billy's hat trick yesterday I was keen to get on and see what everyone was saying, but it came up time after time. Managed fine later in the evening. Does anyone think it happens a lot more when lots of people are getting on the forum?

I’ve thought for a while it’s worse at high traffic times.
