Last Player to score 2 hattricks in a season for us

As far as I can see, Billy is the first to score 2 hattricks (all competitions) for us since Ian Duerden in the Conference in 1998-99

Prior to that it was Brendan O'Callaghan in 1975-76 (1 in Div 4, 1 league Cup)

And before that Alick Jeffrey in 1964-65 (2 in Div 4)

And he is now 29th in the list of all time Football League goalscorers since 1888:

And Billy did it at a higher level than all of them. League one or division 3 in old money.

Looking at that list he must be someway clear as the highest goalscorer in the 21st Century (he'll be hoping Harry Kane stays in Germany for a lot longer though).

What a privilege to have such a player at our club for so much of his career.
