The media team needs to pull their finger out, no mention of permanent or loan or length of contract

Yes there is.

Development player really. That’s 3 of the 4 wingers we will start the season with. Hope the 4th is a bit of a statement.

Development player when he’s played 40 or so in the National League ??

We’re 2 levels above the national league, not sure what your point is?

For me you are a development player till you have about 100 starts. That’s when you can see if players can really play or not.

So even though he played in the National League Final you would class him as a development player ? And in the same vain, we sign a player from a club and he plays two full seasons at the age of 19/20/21 scores 35 goals you would class him as development player ?

Free Press reported as 3.5 year deal but Ricky has now tweeted a correction. It is 2 years.

There is no way I could have been aware of that so apologies.

Fast and direct a bit of an old fashioned winger likes to take the last man on but also works the flank well getting back to work with the full back and defence
I think we will like him.

That's the sort of signing we need to be making, it's very hard for young players coming through when their team gets promotion to the Premiership.
Unless they have made their mark by 18/19 and are already around the first team they have no chance with the clubs, and have to go back to go forward.
Like the left back at Harrogate Slater released by Brighton who paid Preston good money at 17yrs old. A good player but Premiership teams are looking for world class, could well develop to play higher and value added whoever gets him get that chance.
