Well there's only a small number of conspiracy theories but then I'm not so surprised when I see who's perpetrated them.

Of course there's no reason why separate forums can't thrive at the same time. The more the merrier. It's about the people not the technology although unfortunately, there's always a small minority who  come along who don't want to play by the rules to get the attention they crave.

There is nothing wrong with VSC, except it is non-reliable, so I first put Rovers forum.net on then see if I am allowed to look here.

Viking Chat and VSC are two separate things.

Good post. We really don't need a "my dad's bigger than your dad" sort of competition between the two forums. I remember back in the day when the old 606 forum existed alongside this one, loads of clubs have multiple forums so it doesn't need to turn into West Side Story does it.

If people don't like one they'll just post on the other and vice versa and that's fine.

Yep, and also remember YAURS?

Which was the Rovers forum/site that had a section where they would get willing female participants in football shirts (usually Rovers shirts but not always) to get their bangers out for a photo at away games?

It was of its time of course, but i enjoyed it back in the day.

Think it ended up turning into a Facebook group.

Upgraded forum is in final testing on new host. Have already performed a test migration of data/content from this site and all went well. Hoping to do final migration tomorrow night and re-point domain to new host. Whilst that happens you will see an "under maintenance" message on here. I'll start the process around 11pm and aim to cause minimal disruption  :scarf:
