Weren't we supposed to be signing him in the summer until he knackered his knee? I see he's on the verge of making his comeback at Exeter. If he gets back to the level he's capable of he's far too good for League One and may well reappear on SOD's radar.

I remember SOD saying at the time that we tried to sign a midfielder, but unfortunately he's injured his knee and that's how it go's.

Et Voila, Noble injures his knee that week, and ruled out for a bit.

It's only 6 months ago, so he may still be in Sean's radar. Always looked good v us and a 6 footer, product of Doncaster of the South.

Best leave it for this season and see how he recovers from his injury, it's not like we are struggling in this area. For a freebie on affordable wages, he could prove a bargain.
I just hope he's not injury prone. Mind,...I'd like to think we are a bit more savvy of injury prone players and Bristol City.
